Revolution Architecture is an award winning RIBA Architects practice that specialises in building designs that are bespoke and made off-site using modular construction methods.

We work closely with you from concept and feasibility stages, through to construction and completion. We develop your ideas and turn them into beautiful modern buildings.

We are not selling a specific type of off-site modular, instead we work with you to establish a preferred method of construction. These can be made using converted single-use shipping containers, light gauge steel, timber framed components, pre-cast concrete panels or any other method that would be best suited for the brief and the constraints of your project. We have no financial tie with any manufacturer, so can truly give independent advice.

Prefabrication in a factory gives a more precise budget. This decreases waste and saves on unnecessary costs and eliminates costly omissions or mistakes that can occur in traditional builds. We can also tender the project to different manufacturers to inject an element of competition to find the best price.

Time

Off-site and on-site teams can work at the same time reducing the overall programme significantly. The off-site factory build elements are not delayed by inclement weather in the same way as traditional on-site buildings.

Quality

Each of the new buildings components are produced in a controlled factory setting, making it easier to monitor every step, producing reliable results with precision cutting and quality control procedures in place.

Safety

Controlled factory environments offer a more predictable and safe setting than construction sites. These conditions make it less likely that a worker will be hurt or injured.

Disruption to clients and neighbours

Pre-fabricating off-site decreases noise and air pollution on-site by construction vehicles and machinery. The time on-site for vehicles and machinery is also reduced.

Climate change

In off-site construction, most of the pre-fabrication is computer designed giving accurate calculations and quantities of materials. CO2 emissions are reduced with less need for machinery, transport and even worker commutes to site. Overall, this minimises waste and decreases the project’s overall carbon footprint.‍
